Overview

 

In this workshop you will learn an astonishing variety of hand-techniques during hands-on supervised training sessions .  This type of bodywork is vigorous in nature and deep without the pain. It treats conditions that would require physical therapy, osteopathy, chiropractic, or sports therapy.  You will become very versatile in your treatment, broadening the array of tools in your practice. Effects of this bodywork are deeper, longer-lasting than conventional western massage. Tui-na and Anma is also used to treat internal diseases. Tui-na is the forerunner of modern western massage.

In this workshop we will learn how to apply the principles of acupuncture to acute and chronic pain conditions and visceral problems.

·         Important methods of vacuum cupping for the back and large muscle areas and qi – points

·         How to perform qi-gong meditation for better vitality

The class is offered and instructed by Wolfgang Luckmann, NCBTMB Approved Category A provider (#279778-00).   Wolfgang Luckmann A.P. (Acupuncture Physician)., L.M.T. 019842 (FL), DiHOM, has had over twenty years of teaching experience.  His training and credits include: Qi-Gong Massage, Chinese Anma, Shiatsu, Tui-na, Neuromuscular Therapy, Rehabilitative Sports Massage, Myofascial Release and Reiki mastership. He has pioneered a new oriental Tx for ADHD/Hyperactivity. Mr. Wolfgang Luckmann has taught neuromuscular therapy and Swedish Massage Therapy at the Acupressure and Acupuncture Institute and the National School of Technology in Miami. He is a graduate of the Florida College of Natural Health and the Acupressure Acupuncture Institute in Miami and has specialized in the treatment of pain syndromes and Internal Diseases.
