Benign and Malignant Skin Conditions – 12 NCBTMB CEUs

Description

This fun and informative workshop will present various benign and malignant skin conditions that are commonly encountered by massage therapists.  Benign skin conditions (bacterial, fungal and viral) and malignant conditions (melanoma, etc) are discussed, as well as other common skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, seborrhea, etc) and bug bites (scabies, lice).  Each condition is visually demonstrated by multiple PowerPoint slides, and discussed with reference to prevalence, signs/symptoms, treatment, and whether massage is indicated or contraindicated.
