The Diploma program is offered on a full-time (fast-track option) or part-time (extended-track option) basis.
Fast-Track option: Classes meet 3 days a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 8:45AM to 5:05PM, for 6.5 to 7 months. Students are expected to allocate an additional 10-20 hours of time for homework. Students who work more than 20 hours per week may not be admitted into the fast-track program.
Extended-track option: Classes meet 3 evenings per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 5:45PM to 9:35PM, for 10.5 to 11 months.
Certain classes meet outside of regularly scheduled dates/times, as follows:
- During the first two weeks of the program, all groups, fast-track and extended-track, meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for Orientation and discussion of Introductory Concepts.
- There are five four-hour classes (ethics and research) that are held on Saturdays.
- During the second half of the program, students must complete their clinic preparation and clinical practice. Clinic preparation consists of five four-hour sessions; clinic practice consists of twenty four-hour shifts. Clinic prep and practice is typically on weekends.
Classes start every month. Each new group is limited to 14 students. Call 888-461-0114 to start your exciting journey or attend one of our information sessions.
